I have been a patient here for a few months. The dentist I see is wonderful, no pain at all. She is very good. BUT this dental practice seems to have very little if any respect for their clients. My 1st appointment I waited over 2 hrs to be seen, second appointment they didn’t have the drill that the dentist needed so we had to cut the appointment short and reschedule, 3rd appointment on time but the drill leaked water all over me the floor etc and this last and FINAL appointment I waited for 45mins. Then after the filling they ask you to wait to get checked out so they expected me to wait longer. I have other responsibilities my time is limited. Only the doctor has apologized for all of the issues. No one from the front desk could be bothered to let me know she is running late or apologize for the situation. The front desk gives the impression that you are bothering them. On top of the deplorable customer service the staff discusses the companie’s dirty laundry in front of the clients who are waiting, so I have all kinds of stories About their inner workings, which definitely should not give anybody confidence in their staff.

Hands down the best dental experience in the Hudson Valley! I cannot say enough good things about Elite Dental in Poughkeepsie. From start to finish, the entire team makes you feel valued, comfortable, and completely at ease. It starts right at the front desk. The office manager sets the tone for the entire practice with an incredibly pleasant demeanor and absolute professionalism. She made the check-in process seamless, handled my insurance questions effortlessly, and genuinely made me feel welcome the second I walked through the door. Next, the dental hygienist was fantastic. I tend to get a bit anxious during cleanings, but her patience was unmatched. She took her time, checked in on me frequently to ensure I was doing okay, and never made me feel rushed. It was easily the most comfortable and thorough cleaning I've ever had. Finally, the dentist is simply phenomenal. They bring a rare combination of outstanding compassion and elite clinical competence to the chair. They took the time to explain everything clearly, answered all my questions without talking down to me, and delivered top-notch care with a remarkably gentle touch. This place - this team - the doctors- the entire staff are beautiful human beings. I have never experienced such caring people. Thank you Dr Lewis - Dr Hashim, Kristy, Sal and (his lovely brother, and their sister or “grandmother” haha - they were all laughs and professional and soothing at the same time. The front of the house staff can’t be any better. The people who own this place are blessed to have them all and so are the patients. Thank you!

Dr. Sherman was very knowledgeable, personable and compassionate while taking care of me. He did a wonderful job explaining what he was doing and why. He gave me a break when I needed to stop for a second. His assistant was very personable, helpful and did a wonderful job taking care of me. They even complimented me for being a good patient, which I appreciate. Also of great importance, they kept me pain-free and I appreciate that very much so to that I say Thank you. It was a good experience overall and I highly recommend them if you're in need of a dentist.

This is a fantastic dental office! All the staff at the front desk are incredibly accommodating and friendly. The hygienists are highly professional and efficient. A special recommendation of Dr Lana Hashim, who is an exceptional dentist. She is very attentive, patient and caring. She took time to explain me my treatment and everything she was doing. I could not recommend her more.
